Felix Rosenqvist's No. 60 car went airborne in a collision with Pato O'Ward at Turn 13 on lap 29 of the Sonsio Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motor Speedway's road course. The Meyer Shank Racing driver attempted to continue but retired with heavy damage, finishing 23rd after starting third. Christian Lundgaard claimed victory in the crash-marred race, his first since 2023.

The incident marked one of several crashes on Saturday. Rosenqvist also tangled in an early spin into Turn 1 after contact on the frontstretch before lap 1. Marcus Ericsson, Christian Rasmussen and Alexander Rossi failed to finish, while Romain Grosjean completed the race one lap down.

The event featured 12 caution laps and six lead changes among four drivers. Lundgaard passed David Malukas with 18 laps remaining and held the lead to the checkered flag.

The Sonsio Grand Prix serves as the final tune-up before the Indianapolis 500 later this month.
