Steve Maclin pitches TNA to pro wrestling free agents
Steve Maclin, a TNA Wrestling star since 2021, told Fox News Digital that free agents should consider signing with the promotion. He described TNA as a place to reinvent careers amid a recent influx of available wrestlers. Maclin highlighted his own success there, including world and international titles.
Maclin has feuded with Nic Nemeth, Josh Alexander, Moose, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin and Mike Santana. "TNA has always been under the radar. It’s kinda been that land of misfit toys where you can go and reinvent yourself or invent yourself as a new character in general and kinda show the world who you are," Maclin said. He called the locker room family-oriented, where wrestlers support each other regardless of creative decisions.
Maclin holds the Impact World Championship and is a two-time TNA International Champion. He joined TNA in 2021 and has not stopped competing at a high level since. TNA airs weekly on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
Maclin and his wife, fellow TNA champion Deonna Purrazzo, will host the Battle for the Brave event on June 6 for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. A U.S. Marines veteran who enlisted in 2005, Maclin noted the event's ties to 9/11 impacts in the New York-New Jersey area and support for first responders and veterans' families.
